Workshop Topic #1: Belly Dance Show Basics

Sept. 16 - Oct. 7

Learn the secrets behind the inner workings of a complete American Cabaret-Style show: How to make an entrance, transition to Rhumba/Veil, engaging the audience, what is Chiftitelli?, quick tips to nail that drum solo, and don't forget a graceful exit! *Bring a veil and finger cymbals if you have them.

Workshop Topic #2: Scintillating Saiidi w/Assaya (cane)

Oct. 14 - Nov. 4

Learn basic techique for Assaya(Cane),then learn a fun, energetic choreography to "Il Laila Halwa" , an Egyptian folkloric dance which is part of the Nadia Moussa Dance Company repertory. *Bring a cane if you have one.
